This painting reminds me of the Philippines. Tamaraw is the miniature water buffalo only found in Mindoro, Philippines. This was inspired partly by a dream. I have no idea why I painted the boy with a book in his hand....or why he holding his belt - it makes him look like he is pulling his trousers up! Anyway, this painting wasn't planned it just evolved! The sun is still going down but the moon is already in the sky...Large canvas stretched but not framed.
